John Schildt has 25 years experience of teaching and coaching tennis. Tennis experience has been Assistant Pro at El Paso Country Club, primary class instructor for the City of Lewisville, instruction at Hurst Tennis Center, City of Bedford, and City of Grapevine and Highland Village. Along with public instruction he has spent the last 6 years as the assistant coach at Marcus High School.

 

His experience coaching and participating encompasses a wide range of sports from power lifting, track and field to tennis. His coaching experience prior to Marcus High School has been at Bowie High School (2), El Paso High School (3), Newman Smith (1), and McKinney High School (10) where he was not only tennis coach, but spent time as the strength and condition coordinator. Other experience includes certified personal trainer at Gold’s Gym and L.A. Fitness.

 

John Schildt graduated from Central Islip Senior High School in Central Islip New York in 1974 and received an AA from Suffolk County Community College in 1976 and a BSE from Cortland State University in New York in 1978. John have 3 children Meghan 24, Ashlee 22 and Eric 19.
